Amber Toms | Lead Teacher, Four Year Old Preschool
I received my B.S. in Elementary Education from Minnesota State University, Mankato, along with a Mathematics Endorsement. I returned to school to receive my Reading Endorsement because I realized that teaching students to read was a deep passion of mine. I taught 1st grade for 2 years in Minnesota, as well as preschool for 2 years. I am now on a new venture of working towards receiving my Early Childhood Endorsement!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE coming to work each day! The greetings I get when the kids see me, or the goodbyes I get when I leave each day, are pretty unbeatable! My parents, over my years of growing up, fostered 20 children, and my joy of working with children began then! I love giving my all each day to promote my students’ academic and social growth…it is so fun to see where they start, and where you are then able to take them!I live here in Huxley with my husband, Marshal and our son, Hunter. Outside of preschool, I enjoy tutoring kids within the community…an extremely rewarding job!

I have a son Ethan who is fifteen months old. My husband, son and I enjoy going for walks, bike riding, and playing at the park.

My favorite thing about working with children is I love how they can brighten any bad day!

I graduated from Iowa State with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have previously taught Preschool, Special Education, and Kindergarten.

Kelli Mostek - Lead Teacher, 4 year old preschool
I love spending time with my friends and family. I enjoy books and watching movies. I love working with children because everyday is a new experience. I enjoy sharing in their excitement for learning and seeing the world through their eyes.

I have a B.S. in Elementary Education with an endorsement in K-8 Mathematics. I am also planning to complete my Reading and Early Childhood Education endorsements.

Samantha Kelderman - Lead Teacher, 4 year old preschool
My husband and I enjoy board games, movies, and dinner with friends. We have rats, snakes, a lizard, a bird, and chickens.

My favorite thing about children is that they have such a sense of humor. They keep me busy and entertained all day!

I am a recent graduate from Iowa State University. My degree is Early Childhood Education with an endorsement in Special Education.
